MATTHEW 1:18-24 THE BIRTH OF JESUS CHRIST 18 Now the birth of Jesus Christ was as follows: After His mother Mary was betrothed to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with child of the Holy Spirit. 19 Then Joseph her husband, being a just man, and not wanting to make her a public example, was minded to put her away secretly. 20 But while he thought about these things, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream, saying, “Joseph, son of David, do not be afraid to take to you Mary your wife, for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Spirit. 21 And she will bring forth a Son, and you shall call His name Jesus, for He will save His people from their sins.” 22 So all this was done that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the Lord through the prophet, saying: 23 “Behold, the virgin shall be with child, and bear a Son, and they shall call His name Immanuel,” which is translated, “God with us.” 24 Then Joseph, being aroused from sleep, did as the angel of the Lord commanded him and took to him his wife, 25 and did not know her till she had brought forth her firstborn Son.[d] And he called His name Jesus.

Knowing That You Are God’s Beloved

When Jesus was baptized in the river Jordan, a voice from heaven said, “This is my Beloved Son; with Him I am well pleased.” This is recorded in the Bible for your benefit.
Today, God has accepted you in the Beloved. Right now, He is well pleased with you because you are in Christ. After Jesus was baptized, He was led by the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil. The devil said, “If You are the Son of God, command these stones to become bread.”
Notice, the devil craftily dropped one vital word when he taunted Jesus to prove that He was the Son of God. God had audibly announced that Jesus was His Beloved Son, but the devil made no mention of the word Beloved. The devil deliberately dropped the word Beloved when he came to tempt Jesus.
The devil does the same thing with you today because he knows that if he reminds you that you are God’s beloved, all his plans to tempt you will be foiled. Once you know that you are God’s Beloved, whatever the devil wants to bring against you will be fail. You are God’s beloved through Jesus Christ. Jesus died on the cross so that we can be in Him, and so that we can live by the same word that proceeded from the mouth of God “This is my Beloved Son; with Him I am well pleased”.

I bless you with the blessing of Manasseh, able to forget the history. I bless you with the blessing of Ephraim, with the power of anointing to produce wealth and be doubly blessed even in the toughest situations. I bless you with the blessing of Joseph, every adversity becomes a stepping stone and opportunity for the thousandfold increase. I bless you with the blessing of Benjamin, receiving five times more blessing, grace, ability and favor beyond the natural. I bless you with the blessing of Sarah, able to overcome the limitations as you see yourself as God’s masterpiece. I bless you with the blessing of Rebecca, a women of excellence and uncommon. I bless you with the blessing of Leah, finding favor where there is no favor. I bless you with the blessing of Rachel, a women beautiful on the inside and outside. In Jesus' name, Amen.
