The Bible (The Word of God)

Bible is the book contains the mind of God, the fate of man, the way of salvation, the doom of sinners, and the happiness of believers. Its doctrine is holy, its precepts are binding, its histories are true, and its decisions immutable.
Read it to be wise, believe it to be saved, and practice it to be holy. It contains light to direct you, food to support you, and comfort to cheer you up. Here paradise is restored, heaven opened, and the gates of hell disclosed.
Christ is its grand object, our good its design, and the glory of God its end. It is also a mine of wealth, a paradise of glory, and a river of pleasure so read it slowly, frequently, and prayerfully. It is given you in life, will be opened in the judgment day, and be remembered forever. It involves the highest responsibility, will reward the greatest labor, and will condemn all who trifle with its sacred contents.
It contains 66 books, 1189 chapters, and 31173 verses. The Bible contains two testaments which includes 39 books for Old Testaments; Genesis to Malachi, and 27 books for New Testaments; Matthew to Revelation. The Bible was written by 40 men over 600 years. The Bible covers three ages or dispensations there is Patriarchal Age, Mosaic Age, and Christian Age.
